Chris Brown Helps The Anti-Domestic Violence Charity
Chris Brown has offered his services to a charity which aims to stamp out violence against women. The pop singer, who was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna last year, has been attempting to make a career comeback in recent months following the highly-publicized court case.
He approached Jimmie Briggs, the founder of anti-domestic violence charity Man Up, at the GQ Gentlemen's Ball in New York on Wednesday evening, October 27 and asked whether he would be able to help. Briggs tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I found Chris to be very humble, sincere, honest and clear about expressing an interest in working with Man Up or an organization like ours."
"Chris is a young man, and he made a mistake. Some people may feel or not feel he hasn't paid his dues, but he's on a journey. We have to be supportive. My parting words to him were 'Keep your head up.'"
Jake Gyllenhaal Romance Rumor on 'Ellen' Is Rejected to Deny by Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has been forced to address the nature of her relationship with Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal during her Friday, October 29 chat on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" which will be aired on Monday, November 1. "Are you optimistic about love? How do you feel about love right now?" host Ellen DeGeneres quizzed, trying to bring up the topic.
"I'm always optimistic about love," Taylor who looked lovely in her black lace dress said, before beginning to backtrack slightly, "Sometimes." Ellen asked again, "But right now you are?" with the "Speak Now" singer responding "Well, why wouldn't anyone be?"
"Especially if your boyfriend is Jake Gyllenhaal, because he is very handsome," Ellen further teased. "Y'all are just hanging out though right?" Ellen confronted again. Taylor later acknowledged that she was pictured with Jake together when they were out in New York together last week. "You have a picture of us on the (TV) screen, don't you?" Taylor said while Ellen confessed, "Right."
"But it's just y'all hanging out - this does not prove anything. I'm just saying he's adorable and I like him very much, and so if that is the case that he's your boyfriend, I think that's fantastic," Ellen continued to suggest. However, knowing that Taylor once said that she likes to write song about her ex-boyfriends, Ellen asked her on Jake's behalf, "Wouldn't he be nervous if anything goes wrong?"
As for speculation that her new song "Dear John" talks about her brief fling with fellow singer John Mayer, Taylor quipped, "That song kind of is what it is." Ellen replied, "OK, great. We know the answer now. It's about him. You didn't dispute it so obviously," with Taylor giving her I-can't-believe-you-said-that look.
Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have been romantically linked after the two were snapped having a Sunday stroll together in Brooklyn, New York on October 24. One onlooker told Life & Stye magazine, "Taylor and Jake were walking around Park Slope holding hands. They looked like a couple!"

He went on to perform featured roles with the New York City Opera in the early 1970s after a few years of study and later joined the Met, where he sang alongside opera greats including Placido Domingo, Beverly Sills, Kiri Te Kanawa and Shirley Verrett, between 1973 and 1976.

While Heidi Montag enjoys a glamorous life with newly-reconciled hubby Spencer Pratt, her estranged mother is struggling for her living. Darlene Egelhoff, who was infamously rejected by Heidi after voicing her disapproval of her daughter's 10 cosmetic surgeries, recently admitted that she is currently working as a maid.
Darlene said during an interview with Inside Edition on Thursday, October 28 that she is now paying her bills by cleaning others' houses as a maid in her native Crested Butte, Colorado. On why she falls on hard times, Darlene said that a restaurant she and her husband Bill Montag owned for 21 years abruptly closed and becoming maid is the only job available.
During the chat, Darlene went on saying that some of her new employers recognize her from reality TV series "The Hills". Still, she doesn't find it embarrassing, sharing "That's very humbling for me and I very much appreciate that experience because I don't ever want to get full of myself and think I'm too good to do anything."
Asked about if she knows whether or not Heidi is aware of her condition, Darlene replied, "No I don't." Although Heidi has cut Darlene out of her life after confronting her with the 10 surgeries in a day, Darlene still hopes she could reconcile their mother-daughter relationship.
Darlene even said that she has started writing a blog called Metamorphosis of a Mother, hoping Heidi would read it and work things out between them. "I know she loves me, but she's very hurt by me and she's confused," she said. Darlene, however, still blames Spencer for turning her daughter against her.
Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie and Josh Duhamel are desperate to start a family - as soon as their busy schedules allow them to be in the same place at the same time. The couple married in January 2009 but is struggling to find the time to take the relationship to the next step, because they're just so busy.
The "Transformers" star tells U.S. magazine Us Weekly, "It's definitely in the plans. It's just she's very busy, I've been very busy lately. I'll just tell her, 'Baby, we just need to be in the same city for three minutes'."
Meanwhile, Fergie has previously stated, "There's no room in my schedule to have a child. Even if I wanted to get pregnant, there's no way I could perform on stage and be pregnant, I would feel too guilty."
New mum Celine Dion is refusing to embark on a drastic diet to lose her pregnancy weight, insisting she's happy to wear larger-sized clothes until she regains her figure. The singer gained 40 pounds while she was pregnant with twin boys, who she welcomed into the world on Saturday, October 23.
But the "My Heart Will Go On" hitmaker has no plans to try any quick fixes to shed the weight. She tells French magazine Gala, "I don't care about my figure. I never have and I'm not worried. In any case, I'm not going on any diet because I want to breastfeed... Besides I have a really good stylist and if it's a question of going up a dress size or two - well, so be it."
Dion also revealed that she has not come up with name for the boys. "I've read nearly 15,000 names and nothing has stuck," she confessed. "Because [elder son] Rene-Charles goes to school in the United States, he's suggested English first names. My mother, on the other hand, has been hinting about very French first names and we're going a little bit crazy trying to decide."

Arquette came under fire for talking about their sex life, but he defied the criticism and returned to the airwaves on Stern's show on Wednesday, October 27. And the actor insists he wants to tell the truth to help other couples working out their issues.
He tells the Associated Press, "A lot of people are going through stuff like that, and it just helps to kind of hear a celebrity that's experiencing the same kind of things... I know I probably offend some people. I have been talking a little too much so I'm trying not to talk as much."

Hilary Duff Sent Mike Comrie Her Toothless Pic Before Wedding
Hilary Duff tested her husband-to-be's true feelings on their wedding day when she took a photo of her new look and texted it to him hours before the couple exchanged vows. The singer/actress was missing a tooth after it fell out over breakfast and she faced a last-minute dash to the dentist.
